Cairo Festival City turned out to be way more influential than I thought it would be! The shopping mall has attracted and successfully opened a series of international brands like Ted Baker, Armani Exchange and now Topshop & Topman. The British high-street brand just opened their doors this weekend. The buzz was catered to women around Topshop and there wasn't much mentioned about Topman so I had to go check it out!

The store is not very hard to find, it is on the first floor on the same level as Ted Baker, Armani, Fred Perry and many of the designer stores. The store is not THAT big so you can only imagine how large the men's section is. It is easy and comfortable to walk around -unlike the CFC Zara store- and shop.
The collection displayed had some Fall/Winter items along with Summer pieces as well. It is a balanced mix that perfectly suits the weather right now. The collection is pretty simple, basic and fresh just as you would expect of the brand. There were a few fashionable pieces for the stylish bunch.

I was relieved that the price mark on the items wasn't as high as I expected it to be. The brand is generally very affordable. Naturally the prices in Egypt are not considered affordable but are of average price for a high-street brand. If you even compare the prices between here and abroad, the difference is not that high. For example, a pair of jeans cost 30 euros (which is around 274 L.E.) and it is sold here for 470 L.E.
I am loving that we finally have more variety when it comes to shopping. Topman is definitely a worthy contender that will take some of Zara's thunder but not really over shadow it. The next time you go shopping, check it out and you will probably leave with at least one item. OH and if you go soon and buy stuff worth of a 1,000 L.E. or more, you get a free bag. Shop away!

I didn't find a lot of items that would attract me but the store does offer a pretty decent collection for those seeking clean basics. I tried a couple of items like the quilted jacket, printed t-shirt, skinny stretch jeans and the spray on jeans -an absolute nightmare to get in & out of- made me feel like I have sticks for legs. Not cool (even if it's true).
